This forked photoelectric switch is perfect as a limit switch or reference switch for 3D printers, build-your-own mills or CNC machines, and other projects. Optical limit switches have no wear and are more accurate than mechanical limit switches, making them ideal for the Z-axis of 3D printers. Also, unlike most mechanical limit switches, the connecting cables do not need to be soldered, they are simply connected to the PCB board.
