Powerful Extrusion & Quick Die Change
Revo Hemera is a compact, high-performance dual-gear extrusion system with the convenience of E3D's RapidChange Revo system.
Dual drive gears and hardened steel teeth grip filament from both sides, giving your 3D printer exceptional thrust. A narrow filament path also ensures that the material cannot bend on its way to the melt zone. This makes it ideal for printing demanding 3D printing filaments such as flexible materials.
Key features of E3D Revo Hemera at a glance.

Quick nozzle change
Change nozzles quickly and easily with your fingers. No complicated tools, no hot tightening. Revo nozzles form a closed system of nozzle and heatbreak, preventing unwanted material leakage. Installation is incredibly simple.
Revolutionary heating
The Revo HeaterCore heats up in seconds. With its positive temperature coefficient (PTC), the Revo HeaterCore operates more reliably than comparable solutions on the market.
Narrow filament path
Hemera is a combination extruder and hotend, so it has fewer transitions than most available extrusion systems. A narrow filament path ensures excellent performance with hard-to-print plastics such as flexible materials. Even the softest flexible filaments pose no problem.
Wear-resistant
Hemera's stainless steel Hobb teeth are wear-resistant, so with the right combination of components, your Hemera can effortlessly print advanced composite materials like carbon fiber-filled filaments.
Optimized airflow
Hemera features a uniquely designed, lightweight aluminum heat sink to provide high-efficiency cooling. Air circulates up through the fins and thereby away from the 3D print, preventing unintended warping of the printed part.
No torque loss
Hemera's 3.32:1 dual drive gears generate up to 120 N of thrust on both sides of the filament for precise, controlled extrusion without torque loss. Sharp, individually machined Hobb teeth provide excellent filament grip, and rounded surfaces help reduce filament buildup. This results in high-quality, consistent extrusion from the first layer to the last.
E3D quality
Each Hemera drive train includes shielded bearings and high-quality igus® bushings for optimal wear resistance. Each drive train is precisely lubricated during robotic assembly. The drivetrain has been thoroughly analyzed with an accelerated wear test to ensure your Hemera will provide many years of service.
Flexible for any setup
Hemera works with Bowden and direct-drive setups. Simply add a Bowden adapter (sold separately) and your Hemera becomes a powerful Bowden filament drive.
