Solid lubricant plain bearings consist of a base body made of highly wear-resistant cast copper alloys. Solid lubricant deposits are embedded in the sliding surfaces at regular intervals. These deposits consist of graphite, metals and other friction-reducing components. The distribution of these depots is adapted to the motion sequence. The stable bronze body can absorb high loads, while any dirt particles can be stored in the lubricant depots. Thanks to their unique design, these bearing bushings are maintenance-free.Even small sliding movements release solid lubricant through microabrasion. This forms a firmly adhering solid lubricant film with a smooth surface on the sliding partners, which is not displaced from the contact zone even under high loads. This achieves extensive separation of the sliding surfaces with a permanently low coefficient of friction and low wear.

IMPORTANT!
We strongly recommend to use these bushings only with fine ground shafts in h6. Cheap china shafts usually have too much play.

Vibration dampers for Nema17 stepper motors. With these dampers the motor vibrations of the Nema17 motors can be reduced. To avoid skewing of the stepper after tensioning the GT2 belts, we recommend two dampers per motor for X and Y axis.
