The powder coated spring steel printing plate can easily withstand temperatures up to 130°C, so you can even use it with ABS.
The powder-coated spring steel pressure plate is a reusable, relatively maintenance-free build pad for ABS (with a heated bed) and PLA (hot or cold), but other materials like metal, wood, PETG, ABS+, and many others work great, too. You don't need any additional adhesives like glue or tape. PEI is attractive because it doesn't require any surface pretreatment, so it's easy to work with. Plus, printing on PEI doesn't require support rafts because the parts adhere directly to the surface with no problems.
